Bought new as a birthday present for a physician from his wife, this Z8 has always been garaged and driven only sparingly in good weather. This royal treatment has led to a car that carries an astounding degree of originality and preservation. Everything about this Z8 carries the appearance and mechanical condition of a new car. BMW built only 555 Z8s for the world market and they were truly a world class sports car. Riding on a 98.6-inch wheelbase, the Z8 represented the very pinnacle of BMW performance. There was no question that the Z8 was an instant classic, as it sold for $128,000 and was built with an all-aluminum chassis and body.
